Jim holds a degree in Economics and Master of Business Administration from the State University of New York.

His entire career has been in the Insurance industry. He’s a former Independent Agency owner, Regional Vice President of a National Multi Line Property Casualty Company for New York and New Jersey, and past President of Regional Property Casualty Company in Texas, Louisiana, and Mississippi.

Jim is also past President of the Property Insurance Association of Louisiana, a former member of a number of FAIR Plan Boards, and has been honored as an Honorary Insurance Commissioner by the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) for his work on Gulf coast Costal Plans.
